AT-White Rocks Trail Loop Hike
Start on the Appalachian Trail in Boiling Springs, heading south up the mountain to Center Point Knob. Then, we’ll take the White Rocks Trail, (formerly the path of the AT) across South Mountain including a short rock scramble, then head back down along the creek and farmlands, rejoining the present AT, and back to where we began. Meet 8 a.m., Sovereign Bank, Camp Hill Mall OR 8:30 a.m., Fishermans Parking Lot, Bucher Hill Rd., Boiling Springs |

Shikellamy State Park Overlook Trail Clean-up
Families, Individuals, Organizations… Join the Friends of Shikellamy State Park and Keystone Trails Association for a day of community work and fun helping to clean cp & renew Shikellamy State Park Overlook Trails...RAIN OR SHINE but…In case of snow, ice or lightening, the event will be May 8th, 8:30 a.m. Registration & Continental Breakfast Coffee, Tea, Juice, Pastries, & Fruit...9:00 am – Noon Trail Work... Noon Lunch – Hot Soup...1 – 4 pm Trail Work... 4:30 pm Dinner, Music and… Bonfire if weather permits!!!Dress to work and be safe !!! Heavy shoes, long sleeved shirts, long pants, and bug repellant! Poison ivy is on the hillside. Take precautions if you are allergic. |

Appalachian Trail Open House
Description: You're Invited to a FREE Appalachian Trail Open House Featuring the new National Geographic movie, “Wild Spaces: The Appalachian Trail” This acclaimed film features breathtaking views of the entire 2,175 mile trail. It follows hikers as they tackle the trail and the many volunteers who maintain it. Presented by Cumberland Valley Appalachian Trail Club, in partnership with other trail and environmental groups.
