All About the Trees Hike
It's all about the trees! Join DCNR Park Naturalists to learn about Pennsylvania native trees and hike to visit them in their own territory. The hike includes learning to identify trees and a visit to a record-breaking big tree. Meet at the parking lot above Breakneck & Eckert Bridges at 10:00 am for a guided hike in search of some grand trees. Wear sturdy shoes and bring a drink, snack, and perhaps a camera & binoculars.

Canal Dog Walk
Bring your best friend (four-footed or other) and join park staff for a friendly canal walk. Learn some park history as we pass historic homes and structures. The walk will begin in Washington Crossing Park by Bowman's hill wildflower preserve south of New Hope. The walk will be about 3-4 miles long. Dogs must be on leashes 6' or less and must be friendly toward people and other dogs. This program is part of a series to will be held on the first Thursday of every month beginning on April 1, 2010.
