3 Mile "Darlington Days" Hike on the North Country Trail
As part of the Wampum Chapter's participation in this year's Darlington Days celebration we'll be doing a three mile hike in Beaver County from Route 168 to Watt's Mill on Sunday afternoon, May 31st. We'll gather at the Watt's Mill Rd. trailhead of the North Country Trail at 1:00 PM, set up our shuttle to 168, and hike back to Watt's Mill with a stop at the historic Indian Rock along the way. In past years we've been able to arrange a short history presentation about the South Beaver Twp. and Beaver County area from the Little Beaver Historical Society and at this point we're working on getting that set up. Dress for the weather and bring drinking water and a snack if you'd like. A reminder that the bridge over Little Beaver Creek on Watt's Mill Rd. is closed to vehicular traffic so you'll have to approach the trailhead from the south, either up Watt's Mill Rd. from PA Rt. 251, or from Route 168, to Hodgson Rd., to Sterling Rd., to Watt's Mill Rd.

Meeting Place: Watt's Mill Rd. Trailhead
