Find out how to use animal signs to become a better wildlife “hunter” in this walking program on Deer Trail. We may not find Sasquatch, but we’ll learn about some of the other unique creatures that call this area their home. This 0.7-mile walk covers fairly easy terrain, but please wear sturdy shoes. Victoria Trail 3 mile figure 8
This is a 3 mile loop that may be altered slightly depending on how many people show and if construction still going on. Tough climb at the start of the hike, not for beginners. Elev. gain of about 700 ft. in first mile. Then a gradual descent and another steep but short climb and back down. It's a figure 8 hike to be precise, not exactly a loop, but you start and end at the same place after we shuttle to the trailhead which has limited parking. Due to construction near the area, they may be using trailhead as a staging area. All participants must meet at the carpool location. Allegheny Street, Dauphin, PA. If you email me your interest, I will provide phone number and link to directions.
